Welcome Jasper! (Post radiation massage)

Jasper is a wonderfully loving 12-year-old Border Collie. He has soft tissue sarcoma of the temporalis muscle, which has caused him discomfort. His owners brought him to Arfit to see if massage therapy could improve his comfort and quality of life. We’ve been using post-radiation massage to help him.

After each session, Jasper’s owners report noticeable improvements. He moves better and seems much more comfortable. His pain and tightness have lessened, and he shows signs of increased mobility. These positive changes are encouraging for both Jasper and his owners. It’s rewarding to see how massage can make such a big difference.

We focus on gentle, therapeutic techniques that aim to reduce pain and improve circulation. The goal is to relieve any tightness in Jasper’s muscles and promote healing after radiation treatment. Moreover, each session helps him feel more at ease and less tense. Over time, the combination of massage and consistent care has had a noticeable impact on his overall well-being.

Jasper is a trooper. He has a calm and loving personality, which makes working with him a joy. It’s clear that he loves the attention and care he’s receiving at Arfit. His progress is a testament to the power of massage therapy in improving comfort and mobility, especially for older dogs dealing with medical conditions.

We are excited to continue working with Jasper. Every visit brings new improvements, and we look forward to helping him maintain a better quality of life. Welcome to Arfit, Jasper! You’re doing amazing, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!
