Arfit Welcomes Dominic, an 11 year old Chow / Collie mix. Dominic has a history of hip dysplasia and his owners brought him in because he has been limping after walks and having increased difficulty getting up on the bed. In therapy, I immediately noticed a lot of tightness in his low back, a flexed lumbar spine and muscle loss in his gluts and quads.
We started treating his muscle spasms with dry needling and laser and began stretching and hind limb balance and strengthening exercises. His owners report that, after just 3 treatments, they are noticing less limping and he is getting on the bed easier. Go Dominic!
