The Arfit Rehabilitation Program

A clear, structured path to help your dog move better — and stay better.

At Arfit, we don’t offer isolated treatments or one-off visits.

We guide each dog through a progressive rehabilitation program designed to:

  • Relieve pain and restore movement
  • Rebuild strength and stability
  • Protect long-term mobility and prevent reinjury

Care is customized, but the structure is consistent and evidence-based.

How the Program Works

Dogs move through three phases based on recovery and function — not just time.

  • Phase 1 — Intensive Recovery
Restore comfort, mobility, and safe movement.
Typically 3 visits per week for about 6 weeks.
  • Phase 2 — Strength & Performance
Rebuild strength, coordination, and joint stability.
    Typically 2–3 visits per week.
  • Phase 3 — Longevity & Injury Prevention
Maintain gains and support long-term health.
Frequency adjusted to your dog’s needs.

Each phase builds on the last. Skipping steps increases the risk of setbacks and reinjury.

What’s Included

Every visit may include:

  • Progress assessment
  • Hands-on manual therapy and massage
  • Class IV laser therapy
  • Targeted therapeutic exercise
  • Home program guidance

(Additional techniques such as dry needling are used when appropriate.)

Investment

Programs are tailored based on your dog’s condition, goals, and phase of care.

Most clients invest in the low-to-mid thousands during the initial recovery phase, with ongoing care adjusted as progress is made.

We review recommendations and costs clearly after the evaluation so there are no surprises.

Getting Started

Every dog begins with a comprehensive evaluation so we can understand the problem, assess movement, and design the right plan.

The cost is $370 for the first evaluation
