Cole came to therapy after developing vestibular syndrome symptoms following surgery. His head tilted, and he had trouble standing, walking, and turning. Upon evaluation, I noted significant cervical muscle spasms. To address this, we started deep tissue mobilization and laser therapy.
Besides the therapy for his muscles, we began standing rotation activities and balance training exercises. These exercises aimed to help him regain stability and coordination. After just one week, Cole was already showing significant progress. His head tilt had decreased, and he was standing and walking better. Still, this improvement was promising.
At his second visit, we added incline treadmill exercises to his routine. These exercises targeted his overall strength and helped him improve his posture and mobility from his vestibular syndrome. Moreover, we also increased the intensity of his balance and vestibular rehabilitation exercises. The goal was to continue stimulating his nervous system and improve his coordination.
With each session, Cole continues to show improvement. He’s becoming more stable on his feet, and his movements are less rigid. His ability to turn and walk more fluidly is a significant sign of recovery.
Cole’s progress in such a short time is encouraging. His determination thrills his owners, who see encouraging changes. We will continue to monitor his recovery and adjust his therapy plan to ensure he keeps making strides. With consistent effort, Cole will continue to improve. Go Cole! Keep up the fantastic work. Your progress is inspiring!
